When I had some free time, I would whip up a new avatar every once in a while for the forums I frequent just to change things up a bit and to try out different styles and techniques that I picked up along the way in Photoshop.  These particular avatars span across 2004 through 2006.  The ones shown here ended up being the best of the lot--some of which (and others not pictured) I donated to a forum's selection of default avatars.
