The newly renovated High School Library Media
Center (LMC) provides its 630 patrons with access to print, non print
and computer assisted research materials. The facility houses a
print collection of over 20,000 titles and a closed stack
periodical collection of fifty titles covering the last three
years. In addition, our collection includes curriculum materials
covering the latest brain research and educational trends. Our
reference section covers all Dewey categories and includes the most
current encyclopedia and other reference books for research. In
addition to all the print resources, the LMC has 16 computers
available for online research. We also have a computer lab
available for class sign-out. All computers are linked and
attached to our print station with both color and b/w laser printers. In
addition to the computer and print resources, the LMC also houses over
600 video and DVD titles for sign-out. Our patrons are able to
access the BOCES media collection of over 10,000 items and have
Inter-library rights to the Southern Adirondack Library system.
Both systems are linked through our web page. With
all of the LMC material cataloged through our Follett Circulation
Program, our patrons can access our collection via our web page from any computer. This
enables patrons to see if materials are available before coming to the
LMC. Please feel free
to explore our web page and our Library Media Center. Sarah
